update: on saved another farmall

about six weeks ago i posted about a M that I bought and was nocking bad well yesterday I pulled the head and pan to find half a pistion skirt in the pan then I pulled one berring cap to see what year it was overhauled: 1974 and I noticed the berrings were .030 over so If the crank is not true is it no good? seems someone told me that .030 was the max on the crank. Thanks for any help. Justin
