What's the mag on?

If it is a flange-mount magneto, almost always, the impulse will "snap" when the lugs are horizontal (- -), and when the tractor is timed ready to install the mag, the slots in the mag drive will also be horizontal (- -). (Unless someone has installed the mag dive out of time with the engine.)

At what orientation are the tangs on the mag you are working with when it snaps?
