Be sure you're getting fuel in the right amounts TO the carburator; we went thru this w/ our '52 H, would idle and run fine but sputter when we needed the power, found the tank discharge nipple (above the filter bulb) full of trash from the tank. Cleaned same; problem gone and she runs fine now. Also could be the air intake "umbrella" could have it's screen blinded over w/ chaff,dust, etc. Pick the "low hanging" fruit first!! Joe Howard
