H Rear ends

Hi, I have 2 H rears and i an useing one to fix the other, A 47 and A 45, The 45 Has strait cut Ring and Pinion gears and the 47 has curved cut in the gears, Are they the same ratio ? The pinion gear count is the same but i an knot sure of the ring count becouse the 47 rear is still together, And how do you get the special nut off the shaft that drives the Hyd pump? I need to replace the seal! thanks, Cliff
