I think the thing that many on this forum forget is what it cost to have a top notch restoration done. I had a dime a dozen Super C restored and spent nearly $9000. I didn't mind because it was a family tractor but it would have been junk to anyone else. I talked to the guy that did the restoration on this MV and he charged the owner $18000 for the labor and parts. It sounds terrible but at $35-$50/hr labor its not that hard to get there. If anyone knows of someone that does "EXPO" quality work and will restore a SMTA or John Deere 530 front to back for $5000 please give me their phone number. I can keep them busy for a long time.
