1941 model A magnetotiming NEED HELP !!!!

bought tractor a couple of years ago,ran great, then it started losing power. Went to napa bought tune-up parts. Didn't get any better,so i pulled magneto out, haven,t had running since,would like to get it going again.i just ordered a tune-up kit that i know is correct for this model, just to see if that will help the problem.Is there anyone out there that can help?THANK-YOU
