Man you lost me here. The thing i can say for sure is that it is the bottom one. Way down on the bottom under the tractor. Where the 3 point arms are base mounted. and pivot. Top shaft is not a problem. The thing is I have memories of replacing shaft/ seals on my dads JD 4020 and I know this IH is nothing like that but all I have to work on with no book at this time. You mentioned o-rings. 4020 had actual seals. Does this bottom shaft have o-rings in lieu of seals on bottom. Seals, I would think would be easier and more reliable. Man I need a book something BADDD.
