Re: dash color on 400?

For what it's worth, I have an original Farmall 400 brochure I got in 1955 when my father was purchasing a new 400. The color picture shows what appears to be a gun metal gray dash as Bermuda Ken indicated. I also have a 450 Diesel with the original paint and that too has a dark gray dash. Thus I believe the 400s came from the factory with the dash painted a dark gray.
