You should replace the fluid in the final drives too. They take 1 1/2 quarts I think. You need to take the pans off the bottom of the final drives to drain them. Get new gaskets to put them back together. The level fill for them is the plug in the casting just above the pan. Transmission and differential are all one housing and both get filled from the plug on top of the transmission. With belt pully the transmission should hold 5 quarts total. Along with the 3 quarts total for the final drives you'll need two gallons of 80/90 gear lube. As mentioned before, don't overfill the transmission or it will leak. Their is an oil slinger gear and oil passages in the transmission to distribute the oil. If you have a belt pulley you need to drain it using the small pipe plug at the bottom of that casting and refill it thru the plug on the top of that casting with about 1 cup of the 80/90 so it has lube till the oil from the transmission gets back there. Dave.
