Depends on whether its a complete C-281 out of a 450 or a replacement block.Have worked on several SM that just the block was replaced with one from IH later on and all other parts were the SM. IF this is case depending on bore and pistons you may have same power as original SM or 3 to 7 more. If complete 450 type C-281 with Cam gas head and manifold you should have more power,agian it would depend on piston type and tune of engine.
