I pulled the head today (169 engine)visually looks ok, a little carbon but not to bad. going to take Tractor Vets advice and do a complete overhaul, pistons, liners, bearings, valve job ect ect. I got the wide front off as well and pulled the pan. #1 rod bearing is completly gone so i'm gonna need a new or different crank. I didn't see where these guys sell cranks any ideal where to start looking. ( i rather not weld and grind this one if i don't have to) The TA lever and linkage was missing from the old girl when i got her, i assume it's been welded up or something but now would be the time to fix it if i'm ever going to. I'm hoping Tractor Vet or someone can tell me if it's likely to be to big/complicated a job for a novice like myself. i seen they sell rebuild kits for it for around 200.00 Thanks for any advice
