Gotta agree with Hugh and this is only an opinion. But a big tractor is meant for big work. Not like I do once in awhile, diggin' postholes. A plumb crazy waste waste of fuel and wear and tear on an expensive machine that is tied to a chore that could easily be handled by another tractor 1/4 it's size. For what you want to do, a 60 horse small chassis IH could handle those chores with one hand tied behind it's back. Secondly, tractors are made for work, and they should be pushed to their limits once in awhile to keep 'em in top form. They just run better when they're workin' hard.
