Skip... The best way to eliminate the problem is to replace the tank with one that has no contaminates present in it to get between the needle and seat in your carburator. If that"s not feasible and you desire to keep your existing tank, remove it and have it cleaned either at the local engine shop or radiator shop. They will be able to boil out your existing tank for reuse. I"ve had this done once with great results. Good luck with it! Billy
