If so there's a timing mark on the crankshaft gear, a pair of marks on the cam gear, and a mark on the hydraulic pump/distributor drive gear. (On the cam gear the marks are small prick punches 180 deg apart on the front side of the gear - punch below for a photo)

With the crank at TDC and the cam set so both valves on the #1 cylinder are closed, align the nearest mark on the cam gear with the crank gear mark.

Now with the distributor set so the rotor is under the #1 plug tower, the hydraulic pump gear timing mark should be aligned with the other cam gear timing mark.

There is no timing for the governor or governor idler gear. Just slide 'em on however they want to go!
