A lot of them are probably made by the same manufacturer, often overseas. One exception is OEM Tractor Parts, they make a lot of their own stuff -- they did have a quality control problem on things like battery boxes, etc, they had to be modified to fit. There was a long thread on the Red Power Magazine forum awhile back -- people from OEM read it, hopefully they have cleaned up their act. For some parts they are the only source. As to mechanical parts, such as engine parts, choose those from a major U.S. manufacturer.
