I think your compression is a litle on the low side. I not sure what a 300 should have but my fathers Super H has 145 pounds of compression. So I think it should be alitte higer this would help starting. If the tractor sitts for a long period of time the rings may have stuck to the piston. Pour some trans fluid or M M oil in the cylinders. Andrew
