This might not be the case-but if the external adjustments of the TA & clutch are wrong, it will hang up in gear. However, if this is the case it will likely drag in other gears also. To test for this put clutch in with trans in gear on a slight incline; if tractor won't roll down the hill & doesn't want to go to neutral, that's the problem. Easy fix.
