Hi Frank, the glow plugs are in series like the old christmas tree lights. If one is burnt out the others wouldn't work but since you replace the indicator and it glows when the switch is on then the glow plugs are not open. Now one time on our B414D we did have a glow plug develop an internal short and it would blowout the glow plugs that were connected before it in the electrical circuit. JB2
