As for the turning problems you have... Friend added a Schwartz wide front to his 504 and it wouldn't turn short enough, so we lengthened the steering arm that comes down out of the bolster. Either a longer arm in the middle, or shorter arms on the outsides and it will turn sharper. I would try to make a plate that bolts to the center steering arm and moves the inside ends of the tie rods more towards the rear of the tractor (in effect lengthening the arm). Just an idea if you don't want to spend the $$ on a front end. If you don't get what I'm saying, post up a picture of the center linkage and I'll try to better explain it...
