Keith,I assume yours has the long axles?? I missed the first part of this story :) Long axle story: My wifes grandpa bought a `53 Super C brand new with the long axles..no trailers around back then,so he was gonna drive it home,about 7 miles.. clipped the edge of a bridge with the axle and rolled the SC before he got it home,nobody hurt,just pride and tractor..so it got a new hood,grille, radiator and steering pedestal before it ever made it to the farm.. Wifes dad still has and uses that old Farmall,but if it ever completely dies,I'm gonna restore it..I hope Thought you might enjoy the axle story..
