Well if you started with the carb then i am guessen that you had a problem before so like i said above Drain the tank and clean the tank and inlet of the sediment bowl then it is on to the tune up and also feel the coil and see if it is getting HOT if it is getting hot then replace it and don't use the resistor wires that are used on cars or pickup use Packard 440 wires with the copper wire.
