55T Baler engine

I've recently bought a 55T baler, and it works great. Quite a buy at only $400. (I think)My question is this: What size engine is on this thing? I runs much faster that 1800 RPM - I would guess around 2400 RPM. It runs great and bales hay just fine - just hoping someone could give me a little history on this IH baler. This engine is a flat head - was this the only engine size on this baler? Any guesses on the age range of this baler?
