To replace head gasket you need to remove the head. You will have to remove the rocker arm assembly to get to the head bolts. There are just 3 bolts that hold rockers on the head. For the fan, there is a jam nut on the fan & water outlet bracket. Look on the fan spindle for a 5/8" wrench slot - loosen at this pont and jam nut will back off spindle.
