Can't help you a whole lot with the advice for rebuilding the engine, but if you're somewhat mechanically inclined and understand the basic parts of an engine, then you're 95% of the way there. The rest is just making sure the tolerances are within specifications, and most of that will be handled by the machine shop where you take the crank, cam, and head to have them checked out, ground, rebuilt as appropriate. Seems you're new to Farmalls. Unless the serial number tag has been ripped off, it's on the bell housing at the rear of the engine. You can use the serial number to find out the exact year of the tractor.
