hi Keven, If I was you I would pull the head first. To see what measurment you have already and to make sure no one has bored her out to acept SH sleves or anything like that. I guess you could tell by removing the pan but if you are going to tear her down any ways well might as well pull the head . You can sometimes look in the spark plug hole and see with a light what you have as far as piston shape. JON
