I think you would be better off to pull the gas tank and have your local radiator shop to repair it. Our local radiator shop blows air through the tank to get rid of the fumes. You could call them to see if they do gas tanks. Hal PS: I have soldered them with a big soldering iron that I borrowed from work. Don't use a torch.
