If its like the SM LPG that dad used to have, you should shut the gas valves off every night. To start it, open the vapor valve - the top one on the tank - if its cold out, choke it a little & hit the starter. If its warm enough for the gas to vaporize, it should take right off, push the choke in all the way & you should be good to go. It seemed like once it was running, it never needed the choke again. (We never had to choke it in the summer, only when it was cold out.) Once its was running, we opened the liquid valve & ran it with both valves open until we wanted to shut it off. Close the valves & shut off the switch. We never had an engine heater on it & it used to start in -20 weather here in SD. It was a great tractor, wish I would have bought it at Dads sale.
