Around here (and my own included) the wheels were dished in. Back in the 50’s when farming here was on 40 inch rows, and mounted cultivators and pickers were common, this worked well. The wheels were slid to the outside of the axles for the mounted equipment, and slid in almost against the seal housing on the axle for everything else. Matter of fact, when I was a youngster and saw one with the wheels dished the other way, I thought dished out was wrong. I now know that it depends on what the tractor is used for, etc that will determine the dish cause when I went to 30 inch rows I turned the dish on my 966 the other way around.
