magneto wire on super A

trying to get this tractor wired correct. i took coil cover of the mag and there is a wire not connected to anything. where does this go? i don't see anywhere for it to go, it has a eye terminal on it. thanks
Instead of standard regulator it has a cut out.

the way it was wired is-- battery to 12v coil to screw on side of mag. mag coil was took out of the loop. still has generator , ignition switch not hooked up. so you can see i am trying to correct things and get it as close as it was original for now.
