I have a Farmall A, and an Allis B. Powerwise, I don"t notice much difference, but, if you ain"t a youngster, you will want the Farmall, either cub or A. Getting on and off that little B is a pain in the butt (not to mention legs and back). Don"t get me wrong, I love that Allis B, I just don"t like climbing around to get on and off! Another thing, the Farmall A is twice the power of the cub, and can normally be found for less money than the cub. I also mow with a Massey Pony (about the same power as a cub), and it does real good in grass that"s up to 8 inches tall. If you find a Pony, it"s a nice little machine. My Pony has a 5 foot Woods belly mower, my Farmall A has the 5 foot International (Danco) belly mower. Woods decks are, in my opinion, a whole lot better than the International decks. Good Luck...Stan
