Your gas leak sounds like a carb rebuild and replaceing the sediment bowl assembly.
The PTO sounds like it needs adjusted as per the I-T manual. As far as 6 volt or 12 it depends on if it has a genny or alternator. If it has an alternator its most likely to be 12 voly - ground. If it has a genny its probably 6 volt + ground.
