If you want the correct fabric the vice president of the national IHC Collectors, Darrell Darst, uses the original heavy cotton canvas. They are then painted either silver (as I remember them) or black (your choice) and I guess could be left white if desired. He has done a lot of these seats over the years using the correct tools and all three for my Farmalls. The fabric is back under the seat lip just like the origials.
