Man, does that bring back memories! We used to use a pickup with small bales stacked on the tailgate to bring one of herds in from a distant pasture in the fall. Last time was over 20 years ago. Urban sprawl-that pasture is now covered in houses and the people travelling the blacktop road haven't been any closer to a cow than a Big Mac.
