The BN is 4 inches narrower on each side than the B. The differential shafts and housings are shorter (different part numbers). The right hand seat support on a BN bolts to the outboard end of the differential shaft housing (axle) using the same bolts that hold the fender on. On the B, there is a separate bracket that bolts to the differential shaft housing and the right hand seat support. This leaves a space between the seat support and the fender that you won't find on a BN.
