The IT book gives a good discription on making adjustment. Also don"t forget to check everything from wheel to steering box. Spindle bearings, grease. One note, when you turn the wheel if the pitman arms turn with the wheel the proplem is more than likely in linkage.(hold the pitman with one hand and turn steering wheel with other.)Half a turn of play would be a lot of bad linkage. You might luck out and it has never been adjusted.
