I visited a Case IH dealer over the holiday weekend. As I drove through the used tractor lot I saw three 1086's and one 1066.These tractors were wore plumb out!The 86's had the doors tore off,the cabs were all to pieces and who knows what else.I first thought about how tough these tractors had to be just to get this far. Then I felt sorry for them because I remember when these tractors came out new. They were good looking sound tractors ready for a days work.It just seems ashamed that have ended there days like this.I know we can not save them all from the salvage yard and I know that there are alot of parts on them that could be used I just think that when you see an old tractor like these regardless of there color you should tip tour hat to these old boys because they have made the American farmer the best there is.Sorry for the long post.I just wanted to vent a little.Happy New Year
