Worst thing would be cooking the gas. Not too bad if you could leave the doors open or can provide some other kind of vents top and bottom to allow air flow. that 110 degree air feels mighty cool when you are coming out of an attic. Alternatively, a sun shield over the top will do a lot to keep it cool. Even sheet metal nailed on 2x4's laid on top will do a lot. The radiant energy heats the tin which then can't re-radiate very much to the container.
