Thanks for the comments. Shaggy - I checked the torque, all were good at 80#. Hal, I pulled the pan last night and didn't notice big amounts of anti-freeze this morning, just some minor watery/oily drips. I pulled the head and didn't see anything out of the way, I put some photos in "Stuck and Troubled". As I suspected, the pistons are 3 1/8.
Randy I looked at the gasket, the holes in it line up well with the head, but not so well with the block. I had read your previous posts about the gasket which had me going in this direction. On this gasket, the hole cut outs for the cylinders are 3 3/8.
