Farmall H engine stuck

Hi All,
I usually hang out on the 8N discussion board these days, but my first tractor was an H that I regret parting with to this day. As a result, I am looking to replace it. I am considering one that has a stuck motor, has not run in 2-3 years. How serious a problem is this, on average? Will soaking the cylinders in trans fluid or MMO usually work? Anything coomon on these I should look for that might indicate a more serious (fatal) issue? Thanks in advance, Chris
