Jack up the wheel, block the tractor so it CANNOT fall or roll. Set the brake on the wheel still on the ground. Get some help to handle that wheel when you remove it, or risk getting mashed. I recommend you NOT prop the wheel in the manner that Allan in NE shows over on the "Tractor Talk" board under post titled "Wife says I'm Crazy." The tire may have fluid in it, and with wheel and wheel weights could easily weigh 800 lbs. You may be able to remove the end cap from the axle housing and replace the seal. If you have to go further and remove the axle housing for any reason, it's very heavy, and you'll likely want some help. If for some reason you decide to pull the axle, you're in for an adventure.
