Just left mom and dads house and my brother and I have decided tomake a concerted effort to helpour aging father with his hobby farm ( about 75 acres) so he can keep doing what he really enjoys ( driving his tractors ) That said we need to do something about his weed issues ( we are amatuers). There is a problem with something he calls "quack grass" and foxtail. He plants corn and beans ( roundup ready beans). We would like to put something down before we plant that would have residual control and then spray once (roundup on beans and product "X" on corn) after to control weeds. Is there a product we can put down befor we plant that is good for corn and beans ( brother read about treflan) that would provide that residual effect. We plan on discing and using a field cultivator in the spring. We arein Wisconsin. Please provide us with your suggestions - our family would sincerely be thankful.
