560 pistons

I have a 58 560 gas I'am overhauling and the pistons I took out are M&W pistons that are 3 11/16 and they should be 3 9/16 did the last owner bore out the block or do I have a diesel block on the tractor?I looked for a casting number on the block but I can't find one.and if so will I have to put a diesel overhaul kit in it?
