i put sleeves on my b several years ago, the b has wet sleeves in it with an o ring on the bottom. after you take the head off, hand crank the motor over, my sleeves came right out without a puller. it may be worth a try...
one other thing while you are in there check the bottom plate on your oil pump for wear, i had to go back in to mine after the overhaul due to low oil pressure when the tractor warmed up. good luck!
