BN clutch questi ons

The daughters BN has a jumpy clutch no matter how easy the clutch is let out the tractor leaps. I thought maby the spline on the disc was stuck to the shaft. I took it apart & the only thing I could find wrong, the pilot bearing was worn & loose. I was wondering if that could be the problem. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
