The 84 series tractors did have a factory 4WD option. At least the bigger ones did. I don't know about the 584.

Converting is as simple as bolting all the parts from the factory 4WD option on to your tractor. Unless, you're a machinist and a heck of a fabricator. Then you could probably adapt something from another tractor or a truck.

Your biggest problem will be finding the parts for the factory 4WD option. Most likely, they will have to come from a junked tractor. Good luck. It won't be easy.
