That's what I figured, but didn't know for sure 'cause I can't find an oil schematic for the thing.

Took 'er out again to my favorite "hill test track". Darned tractor will bury herself to the axles in reverse and absolutely kill the engine if I pull it hard enough; but in forward, she just by-passes when the going gets tough.

I'm gonna pull that left cover plate off next and see if I can find that forward pressure leak; gotta be in there somewhere. :>)
