yes, ya have to have the foot n inch pedal in just like a clutch. It is positioned properly but I suppose I may have to do a make /break check on the switch next time. I am sure it will work fine now till I get 20' snow and -10. Which will probably be mid January when the flock goes out and the barn needs to be cleaned. Didnt have a single mechanical problem last year, got a feeling its gonna catch up. Preventative maintenance some how always loses to bad luck, my times a coming
