I watched it last night for the umpteenth time, and always wonder if the inspiration for naming Bert and Ernie on Sesame St. came from this movie. It also gives us pause to really take personal inventory and ask ourselves "do we really think we are so insignificant that the world would have been the same without us"? I know that on more than one occasion that question has been widely discussed among ourselves as we watch the movie. A true classic, indeed.
