That's right. Measure the shaft very accurately and buy the appropriate sleeve with the correct I.D. A tip: The sleeves are thin enough that they can sometimes "form" into the groove in the shaft after you've installed it. If it does, you will have another leak. To counter this, I clean the shaft thoroughly, then fill the grooves with JB Weld, or a similar product, let it dry, and sand it flush with the unworn part of the shaft. Repeat if you have gaps. Then install the sleeve over the top. The filler prevents the sleeve from sinking into the groove. Make sure the filler is fully dry (24 hours at least) and sanded very smooth.
