Hi Joe, the fex line you mentioned is probably the fuel return line that connects by the battery box just above the starter. The main fuel supply line should have been disconnected at the inlet to the two fuel filters on the front right of the engine. To reconnect the main fuel line, leave the connector loose and turn on the fuel line shut off valves (one on each side of the bottom of the fuel tank), don't tighten the connector nut on the fuel line until the fuel is flowing without air bubbles. This will prevent having to bleed the fuel system. There is a throtle linkage to the fuel injection pump and the stop/start/run control cable to the fuel injection pump. To get proper adjustment of the stop/start/run control cable, in run position the lever on side of fuel injection pump must be against the front adjust screw, in stop position the lever must fully depress the plunger in the stop adjustment screw, the start position is with the lever just touching the plunger of the stop adjustment screw when the plunger is fully extended. Have you got the electrical figured out? JB2
